In The Know: Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County

In anticipation of January being Alzheimer Awareness Month, the Town of Collingwood’s local businesses and residents are getting ready to light it up blue.  In fact – everyone is invited to join in!  

One of twenty-six Alzheimer Societies in Ontario – the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County provides support services, education, public awareness, programs and research support.  

So get yourself a blue lightbulb – and help show eleven thousand individuals in Simcoe County living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias – as well as their care partners – that they are supported.  Lighting up your home or business in blue will help raise awareness and spark conversation.
