The New Classical FM is proud to be associated with Opera Atelier’s  production of “Something Rich and Strange”… Saturday, December 12th at 7 pm, live-streamed from Koerner Hall.  It’s part of two fully staged productions that will make up the 2020/21 season, replacing The Magic Flute, The Angel Speaks and Deye Do and Aneeus.

Something Rich & Strange”– is a new creation which takes its name from the famous quote within Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

The piece will focus on theatre music that explores the realms of dreams, visions, and the supernatural, as expressed by legendary composers, plus new music as well.

This creation will feature soprano Measha Brueggergosman, tenor Colin Ainsworth, Artists from the Atelier Ballet, and select musicians from Tafelmusik.. led by Elisa Citterio. David Fallis conducting of course.
