John Geddes discusses The Goldilocks Mission Event on Classical Jukebox
John Geddes has held a range of key positions in various divisions of the entertainment industry, including Corus Entertainment, TIFF and a co-founder of Foresight Features, where he has produced several award-winning feature films.
Daniel Vnukowski welcomed him to Classical Jukebox for a conversation on The Goldilocks Mission Event.
In John’s own words:
My career has been dedicated to creating and producing entertainment, fascinated by the ever-changing world around us and the stories it holds. Through this journey, I have fallen in love with Science and Technology, I am fascinated by clean energy and how we can transition to using it in our everyday life. As a parent of three and with a love for philosophy, I am inspired to create entertainment that delivers meaning. Humans face new challenges for survival because of climate change. More frequent and intense droughts, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, and warming oceans are wreaking havoc on people’s livelihoods and communities. The conflict and injustices that follow will shape the future of our children. We’re developing a series, for teens and young adults, that brings climate education to the uneducated through entertainment. The Goldilocks Mission is in development and coming soon.
