In 1777, watchmaker Henry Brownbill, opened his shop in England. Two hundred years later in 1977 his 5th generation grandson Rick Brownbill opened his first watchmaker shop in North Bay Ontario. Rick was unaware that he was part of “The Brownbills Clockmakers Dynasty” of Horologists. Today, along with his wife Aime their award winning traditional watchmakers shop “Perfect Timing” is celebrating 20 years of business in the heart of downtown Orillia. Ricks work bench is located in the front of the shop and customers are able to to see him meticulously work on repairs.
They carry an extensive line of new watches and clocks from around the world. In 2017 they introduced their Reichart Brand watch line with names celebrating their rich British history including The Manchester, Sheffield to The York. This watch line honors the Brownbill’s rich history in watchmaking. Rick and Aime are drawing from the past as they look to the future. For more information and products visit Perfect Timing
