Live From ZoomerHall: Strings from Paris

We discovered local Toronto collective Strings From Paris after watching their novel arrangements of "Over" by Drake and Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice" online that also captured the attention of millions, including Drake himself. Strings From Paris recontextualizes classical music by changing the way that audiences experience strings, making accessible introductions for new ears, while giving seasoned listeners a modern take. We welcomed Strings From Paris to ZoomerHall on November 23rd, 2023 for a live-to-air radio concert featuring classical versions of pop, R&B, and hip-hop songs, with some Vivaldi and Debussy for good measure.   Hosted by Mark Wigmore Featuring @stringsfromparis Aaron Paris Rhiannon Carter Adrian Irvine Madeleine Kay Andrew Park Brendan Rogers
