If you’re a city dweller and haven’t experienced a country Halloween yet, can we give you a hot tip? Collingwood’s Black Harvest Festival in the historic Downtown Collingwood is devilishly good fun. Dark nights, cool air, crunchy Autumn leaves and ghost stories. Sign us up!
On Friday, October 23, experience the Haunted Walk of Collingwood’s Past. This escorted walk of the spooky, atmospheric downtown starts under the clock tower of the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m. Tours are FREE, but you should pre-register by calling 705-445-5595 to ensure your place.
The next day activities start along Hurontario Street to put even the most cynical of creatures into the haunted mood: who can resist a small town, all age costume contest judged by a Witch and Warlock?
Black Harvest is all treat and that’s no trick!
