Daniel Vnukowski was joined by rising star of the Canadian opera world Danielle MacMillan to talk about the release of her debut album Songs of Hope, a collaboration with Ronald Royer and the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra.
The album’s theme of hope was inspired by difficulties faced by all during the harsh years of the pandemic and is a further testament to the resolve of people to rise above their difficulties and find a way to thrive.
Danielle has worked with a plethora of skilled composers young and old (and ancient) to bring us an album full of diversity and intrigue.
Danielle will be performing together with the SPO April 26th at the Heliconian Hall (35 Hazelton Ave, Toronto, Ontario M5R 2E3) and April 27th at St.Paul’s L’Amoreaux Anglican Church,(3333 Finch Ave E, Toronto).
